morning, everyone. 7:26 your time. i'm frank mallicoat. let's get right out to san francisco civic center plaza. anne makovec is there in her orange ready for a big giants celebration. >> reporter: this is where the parade is going to end up this morning. you can see hundreds of people already packing the lawn in front of san francisco's city hall coming from all over the bay area all over the state. everybody is wearing their orange and black. so the presentation will start in front of city hall at 12:30. the parade starts at the base of market street at 11:00 and it is going to work its way straight down market street. that's a little different from the route it took in 2010. it is all going to be on market street. and again, end here at civic center plaza. of course, we have all the coverage for you but it's already packed. public transportation is already packed. so just watch the parade on tv if you are not big enough it brave these crowds. frank, back to you. >> if you are not en route, you might be out of luck. anne makovec live for us in san francisco. that all important weather f

in los angeles last night, three more in san francisco today. we learned his campaign raked in $181 million in the month of september alone, the largest one month haul of this presidential campaign. 6,000 obama supporters paid at least $250 each to join the president at a star studded concert in downtown los angeles. the lineup included katy perry, stevie wonder, bone jon jovi and jennifer hudson. president obama praised them all while poking fun at himself. >> everyone here is incredible professionals, such great friends and they just perform flawlessly night after night. i can't always say the same. >> reporter: it was his first public acknowledgment that his debate performance wednesday night might not have been the strongest. earlier sunday on "face the nation" campaign strategist david axelrod admitted the president wasn't completely happy with his showing. >> the president is his harshest critic and without getting into detail you can assume he's reviewed the tape and it will inform -- it will inform how he handles these subsequent debates. >> reporter: axlelrod and other supp

. louis will play the giants for the national league title starting tomorrow in san francisco. in the american league the new york yankees defeated the baltimore orioles 3-1 in the best of five series on friday. the yankees will play the tigers tonight in new york. >>> a lot of happy family in st. louis. >>> there is more fall out from the lance armstrong doping scandal. the times of london said it may take legal action to recover an estimated $1 million it paid in a libel suit brought by armstrong and pursue him for fraud. armstrong sudden the paper and two journalists over a story about doping allegations. >> armstrong's former manager has left the radioshack nissan team. he's been singled out as the single figure in armstrong's doping program. armstrong's foundation has taken a hit. it's a $5 million charity that raises money to fight cancer but can it survive the scandal? joe, to start with, do you think his charity can survive this given the media impact and size of the scandal? >> yes, i think so. this is one of the rare instances where the charity is bigger than the celebrity.
